Co-Founder

My name is Tram Tran. I’m an accountant by profession, but my true passion lies in fostering connections within my family, culture, and community.

In 2004, I moved to Switzerland to study Hospitality, and in 2009, I made Canada my home, embracing opportunities for growth while staying rooted in my Vietnamese heritage. As a mother of a 7-year-old son and a 12-year-old daughter—I believe family bonds are vital, and language is key to preserving them. Teaching Vietnamese connects us to our roots and instills pride in the next generation.

In 2024, I co-founded VKids Connect in Calgary to empower Vietnamese-Canadian children to celebrate their heritage through cultural activities, performances, and language education. I see language as the soul of culture, essential for identity and growth in a multicultural world.

I am dedicated to honoring our heritage, strengthening family ties, and inspiring future generations to embrace their roots while confidently shaping their future.
