Hi, I'm Oanh Ho. Inspired by the power of community, I create the “Insights” podcast series that shares inspiring stories of Vietnamese newcomers who have made Canada their second home while overcoming numerous challenges.

My previous work as a translator for Beyond The Lens, a photobook project by the Empowered Women's Collective, supported the explorative journey of young Vietnamese-Canadian women born in Canada in navigating cultural identity.

Storytellers candidly shared their emotions, complex thoughts, and the confusion they face about belonging—particularly during their adolescent years.

These life-altering experience deepened my understanding of cultural identity formation, and led me to volunteer with VKids Connect. There, I help create engaging activities and stories that strengthen community bonds while celebrating cultural heritage.
